Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

Rudy Mireles a month ago

I live in McAllen and got a flat tire while I was in Brownsville, so I needed to find a replacement tire and get it taken care of that same day. I went to Pep Boys on Boca Chica, and even though they didn’t have the tire I needed in stock, they went out of their way to accommodate me, get the tire, and get me back on the road quickly. Junior at the front desk helped me every step of the way. He was communicative, incredibly helpful, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. I also really appreciate the technician who worked on my car and got everything taken care of quickly. Excellent service from start to finish, especially when I was in a tough spot away from home and needed the car fixed that day. I would absolutely recommend this location.

Mr Raul was amazing, helped me out a lot and made sure all my sensors were all cleared out before the car left the shop. Helped my vehicle get all new tires. David helped with the initial call as well and gave me different quotes before i came in to the shop.

Beyond impressed with the work done today, which was done swiftly (even without a reservation) and at a very reasonable price point. They service Teslas with the right equipment (others in town don’t, which I found out the hard way!) - so glad we relied on pep boys for the fix needed. Drove away feeling like I was in a brand new car. The team was so kind, had great communication, and shared a detail report upon completion. Will definitely be back for all our car needs!

Thank you so much for the great service. We dropped off the car because the brakes lights were always on. David took a great care of the car and returned it in a couple of hours. Highly recommend the service!

Xiomara offered me an excellent service! She was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain what my vehicle needed without any pressure. The service was completed quickly and everything was handled with great attention to detail. It’s rare to find someone so honest and easy to work with in this industry. I left feeling confident that my car was in great hands—highly recommend!
